根据考古学家和历史学家考证：中国玉器诞生于原始社会新石器时代早期，至今有七、八千年的历史。从出土玉器考证，公元前七千年左右的河南南阳独山玉雕“第一村”(黄山遗址)，公元前四五千年前左右的浙江余姚河姆渡文化，辽河流域红山文化，黄河时代距今8000-4000年之间，此后玉器与钢器并用了约1000年，玉器盛行上下约3000年，我国是世界上用玉最早，且绵延时间最长的国家，素有“玉石之国”的美誉。

此次本公司有幸征集到了一件战汉时期的龙形玉爵。此物整体高8.6CM，长7.5CM。重220克。采用和田白玉雕刻而成，玉质温润洁白，器形及纹饰皆仿商周之际青铜器，古朴华美，蕴含装饰趣味，其造型底部雕有龙形，为双角，卷眉，大眼，巨口，口中吞咬觥身。口部呈波状，含一玉环，其下浮雕整齐的饕餮纹于一周，觥腹旁边采用镂雕技法琢一螭纹，躯体修长，作攀沿状，玉兽形状劲健雄伟，神态凶猛，极为生动逼真，尽显皇家之威严。龙形上面放置玉爵，爵身布满云雷回形纹饰，显示玉爵神秘一面。作者运用独特的雕刻技艺，赋予了玉石新的生命，塑造出了瑞兽自然特性的形象，以及威风凛凛的气势。同时这件瑞兽造型的表现力更是展现出了雕刻创造者的深厚功底及雕刻工艺的高超水准，实属罕见的珍贵玉雕作品，颇具欣赏价值与收藏价值。

According to the research of archaeologists and historians, Chinese jade was born in the early Neolithic Age in primitive society, and it has a history of seven or eight thousand years. According to the research of unearthed jade articles, the "First Village" (Huangshan Site) carved in dushan jade, Nanyang, Henan Province around 7,000 BC, Hemudu culture in Yuyao, Zhejiang Province around 4,500 BC, Hongshan culture in Liaohe River Basin, and the Yellow River era were between 8,000 and 4,000 years ago. Since then, jade articles have been used together with steel tools for about 1,000 years, and jade articles have been popular for about 3,000 years. This time, our company had the honor to collect a dragon-shaped jade prince from the Han Dynasty. It is 8.6CM high and 7.5CM long. It weighs 220 grams. Carved with Hetian white jade, the jade is warm and white, and its shape and ornamentation are similar to the bronze ware of Shang and Zhou Dynasties. It is simple and colorful, and contains decorative interest. Its shape is carved with dragon shape at the bottom, with double horns, curly eyebrows, big eyes and huge mouth, and its mouth swallows and bites. The mouth is wavy, including a Yuhuan, with a neat gluttonous pattern embossed under it for a week. The belly is carved by carving technique, with slender body and climbing edge shape. The jade beast is strong and majestic in shape, fierce in expression, and extremely vivid, showing the majesty of the royal family. Jade Jue is placed on the dragon shape, and its body is decorated with clouds and thunder, showing the mysterious side of Jade Jue. By using unique carving skills, the author endows jade with new life, portrays the image of the natural characteristics of the beast and the imposing manner. At the same time, the expressive force of this animal model shows the deep foundation of the carving creator and the superb level of carving technology, which is a rare and precious jade carving work, with considerable appreciation value and collection value.
